Gestalt is designed with your privacy in mind. Here's how the app handles your data.
Gestalt does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising frameworks.
When you use Gestalt to generate alt text, your images are sent directly from your device to the AI provider (Anthropic or OpenAI) to generate descriptions. Images are sent solely for processing and are not stored by Gestalt. Please refer to Anthropic's privacy policy and OpenAI's privacy policy for details on how they handle data sent to their APIs.
If you use the "Bring Your Own Key" option, your API key is stored securely on your device. It is never sent to Gestalt's servers or shared with any third party other than the AI provider you selected.
Gestalt Premium subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Gestalt does not collect or have access to your payment information. Apple may share subscription status information with Gestalt to provide you with access to premium features. See Apple's privacy policy for details.
